Sponsorship stays strong as season kicks off.

The trade is getting behind equestrian sport at the start of a world championship year.

The World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Aachen, Germany (11 – 23 August) will see titles contested in jumping, dressage, eventing, vaulting, driving and para-dressage.

Crucially, these are also qualifying competitions for the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.

Meanwhile, a busy national and international show season is set to unfold with brands and retailers very much in the mix.

  • Prize money at this year’s Mars Badminton Horse Trials has been increased. The winner will take home £125,000, and the total prize pot for the top 20 finishers is £451,500. Mars is the home of the SPILLERS brand.
  • Baileys Horse Feeds has renewed its official feed partner role with British Eventing (BE) for a further three years. With 24 years of consecutive support, Baileys is now BE’s longest-standing commercial partner.
  • British Eventing has announced a long-term partnership with Equell Nutrition. The company, founded by Rachael Heald in 2024, becomes BE’s Official Equine Supplement Partner.
