Short-list underlines “trade’s diversity.”
Saddlery shops and feed merchants across the UK have been voting for their favourite suppliers.
And now three of the firms that manufacture and distribute equestrian products are in line for a national award.
The finalists for the Citation Trade Supplier of the Year – one of a series of BETAs, business awards organised by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) – are:
Gallop Equestrian
Simple System
Bliss of London
The award goes to the manufacturer, wholesaler or distributor judged to offer the best in delivery, customer service, product knowledge and awareness of retailer requirements.
“The short-list for this award underlines the diversity of the equestrian trade,” says Claire Williams of BETA.
“Here we have a supplier of horse and rider equipment [Gallop Equestrian], a feed company [Simple System] and a saddle manufacturer [Bliss of London] serving their respective sectors with distinction.”
The winner of the Citation Trade Supplier of the Year will be announced at the BETA Gala Dinner on 28 September at the Metropole Hotel, NEC, Birmingham.
There is no fee to enter the BETAs; candidates are nominated by their customers and/or the public, depending on category. Finalists and winners are chosen via an objective selection process by a panel of judges.
