COMPANY’S EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS REWARDED

Work in equine welfare and biomechanics rewarded.

Dave Kempsall and Maggie White of WOW Saddles have been recognised for their work in equine anatomy and biomechanics in the saddle fitting industry. 

Gillians Higgins (left) presents Maggie White and David Kempsall with WOW Saddles’ award for its unstinting support of Horses Inside Out over 20 years. 

They were presented with an award at the recent 20th anniversary Horses Inside Out (HIO) Gala Dinner for their support of the organisation over two decades.

David and Maggie attend HIO conferences, and presents lectures, courses and events for the equine anatomy educator. 

“HIO is proud to celebrate companies and individuals who have positively contributed to the company’s success over the last 20 years by supporting the advancements in education and understanding of biomechanics and equine welfare,” said founder Gillian Higgins.

Other awards went to Dr Sue Dyson for her work supporting horse comfort and welfare; Dr Kirsty Lesniak, senior lecturer at Hartpury University and researcher into hoof anatomy; and Gillian Higgins’ parents, David and Shirley Higgins, for their support from running the HIO bookshop to building skeletons.
