EQUESTRIAN COMPANY WINS NATIONAL BUSINESS AWARD

Dragons’ Den star presents the prize at glitzy ceremony.

Equestrian safety brand evoke was named national winner of a HSBC UK Small Business Growth award on Thursday (4 June).

The annual awards, run by the Federation of Small Businesses, are presented at The Savoy in London and attract mainstream media coverage. 

evoke was declared the winner in its category from more than 3,000 enterprises from all sectors across Britain.  

Brand founders David and Victoria Mitson received their prize from entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies. 

The awards judges commented that evoke has demonstrated “sustained and significant growth and demonstrable long-term opportunities to further accelerate future growth and expansion, showing ambition, resilience and innovation.”

David Mitson told ETN that winning the national award was “a moment we will cherish. 

“Reflecting on what we have achieved as a team, and being recognised for our success, is something I hope everyone involved in our journey will take an immense amount of pride from,” he added.
