Forage production in a changing climate, supply chains and quality assurance up for debate.
Leading equine feed industry players will gather for next month’s British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Feed & NOPS Conference.
Tickets for the popular annual event on 10/11 June at the Hilton Hotel, East Midlands Airport are available to anyone with an interest in the sector.
Speakers will address regulatory frameworks, quality assurance protocols, and the evolving landscape of feed safety.
“The BETA Feed Committee has developed a programme to provide comprehensive coverage of the most pressing issues facing the sector today,” says BETA’s Claire Williams.
Other topics set for scrutiny over the two days include the effects of climate change on forage production, lupins as a feed material, the molasses supply chain and quality auditing.
Each day incorporates refreshment breaks allowing delegates to network, while there’s a conference dinner with a fascinating pre-dinner speaker. Stephanie Quintrell was the first woman in a wheelchair to cross the Andes on horseback.
Conference delegates can also earn CPD points.
The 2026 BETA Feed & NOPS Conference has as its sponsors, Premier Nutrition (gold), Cargill and Fox Feeds (silver), and KIWA (bronze).
