And why the trade’s big night out will ‘go wild.’
Guests at Sunday’s BETA Gala Dinner will be first to find out which company runs the UK’s top feed advice line.
The BETA ENFAR Nutritional Helpline of the Year will be presented at the British Equestrian Trade Association’s Gala Dinner in Birmingham on 28 September.

One of a series of industry awards – the BETAs, it celebrates companies that support consumers with outstanding nutritional advice.
“This award isn’t a reward for selling the most feed,” said Claire Williams from BETA.
“The winner will be a company’s nutritional team which genuinely helps owners understand their horses’ diets as part of an overall management regime.”
This year’s Nutritional Helpline of the Year is supported by BETA ENFAR, the trade association’s new register of nutritionists and feed advisors designed to help consumers find appropriate feeding guidance.
The five finalists were nominated by horse owners who have used and were impressed by their services. The winner will be decided by an independent judging panel whose remit includes incognito calls to the short-listed feed firms’ helplines.
The finalists for the 2025 BETA ENFAR Nutritional Helpline of the Year are:
Allen & Page
Blue Chip Feed
Science Supplements
Simple System
TopSpec Equine
BETA Gala Dinner supports wildlife
Nature’s Safe, a biobank which preserves the living cells of endangered species, is the chosen charity for the 2025 BETA Gala Dinner.
A BETA members’ visit to the equine breeding operation Stallion AI – whose managing director, Tullis Matson, set up Nature’s Safe – made it a popular choice of charity for the trade’s glittering social occasion.
“BETA’s support will help us continue our pioneering work to preserve cells of endangered animals and help prevent our planet’s wildlife from going extinct,” said Debbie Rolmanis from Nature’s Safe.
Funds will be raised at the BETA Gala Dinner via a raffle of hampers donated by equestrian brands.
