Guests talk tack with top rider.
Olympic gold medallist and European eventing champion Laura Collett took time out of her busy season to welcome retailers and saddle fitters to her Gloucestershire yard recently.
The behind-the-scenes visit was part of an Equipe training day organised by the saddle brand’s UK distributor Zebra Products.
Following a technical presentation of the latest products by Zebra Products’ saddle sales manager Sally Bacon and Martina Sgarzani from Equipe, delegates enjoyed a light lunch.
Then it was on to Laura’s yard for a saddle fitting demonstration by Sally which included an insight into how different Equipe styles work for Laura’s equine superstars.
The guest saddle fitters and retailers were invited to check saddles on the resident event horses too.
The day concluded with a ridden demo by Laura who is an Equipe and Zebra Products ambassador.
“A fabulous day was had by all,” said Sally. “A massive thank you to everybody who came along and made the day such a success and most of all, to Laura and her team for hosting us.”
Laura Collett and London 52 are among the combinations shortlisted to represent Britain at the 2026 World Championships in Aachen on 11 – 23 August.
