Have you had a riding hat or body protector fitted? Do you employ a fitter who does a great job?
Nominations are still open – but only until next Monday, 30 June - for the Safety Fitter of the Year award.

The accolade is one of a series of BETAs, the equestrian industry awards to be presented by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) at its annual Gala Dinner on 28 September.
The Safety Fitter of the Year is open to nominations from riders and retailers from anywhere in the UK.
“If you have had excellent service from a riding hat and/or body protector fitter in an equestrian store at any time in the last year, then please nominate them for this award,” said Claire Williams from BETA.
“Equally, retailers are welcome to put forward the names of staff members who do a fantastic job of fitting their customers.”
The award is aimed at fitters based in retail settings who go the extra mile to achieve a high level of competence and support for their customers.
For many years, BETA has offered training in the fitting of riding hats and body protectors.
Its safety courses involve practical sessions, tips to achieve successful personalised fittings and information about the latest safety standards and regulations for competitive riders.
