Full programme now available for industry event.
Italian international event rider Vittoria Panizzon is the pre-dinner speaker at the British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA’s) annual Feed Conference on 11/12 June.
Vittoria has recently returned to competition following the quashing by the Court of Arbitration of her four-year ban resulting from the Italian Equestrian Federation finding her in breach of WADA’s Athlete’s Whereabouts Scheme.
The BETA Feed Conference has sold out of hotel rooms for those wishing to attend both days at the venue, the Hilton East Midlands Airport. However, day delegate tickets are still available for both days.
The first day focuses on the wider regulatory and sporting landscape impacting the industry with sessions on emerging risks and supply chain challenges alongside liability considerations for manufacturers and marketeers. Contributors from the publishing and insurance sectors provide their perspectives on the feed industry.
The afternoon offers two streams of workshops, one with a technical slant offering claims and labelling discussions and how best to communicate gastric health issues, whilst the other takes a wider view discussing the future of equestrian sport and how welfare questions impact this alongside a further discussion on supply chain challenges.
Day two looks at all matters prohibited substances related from the new NOPS certification scheme, case studies on recent tribunal cases as well as views from the racing and equestrian sport sectors.
