“We’re working closely with our factories to rebuild stock levels.”
Tredstep – the Irish clothing and footwear brand - has been acquired by American based Equinavia.
The deal gives Equinavia immediate worldwide exclusive rights to the Tredstep brand and its intellectual property.

Aidan Keogh, the former event rider who founded Tredstep in 1993, will remain involved as a consultant.
Equinavia, based in Connecticut, was founded in 2008 by Fred Erik Nilsen, its current president, and Eva-Helen S Nilsen.
The company has a strong Scandinavian connection having become home to the Horze, B Vertigo and Finntack brands in 2022.
Thanking retailers who have supported Tredstep, Mr Nilsen indicated that the brand would continue to be distributed through the trade.
“We look forward to continuing to work closely with all of you and continue to grow the brand and the products available within it,” he said.
“We are already working closely with our factories to rebuild stock levels and better serve the strong demand that has historically been underserved. It may take us a minute to fully catch up, but we are fully committed to getting there.”
Aiden Keogh said he was pleased to see Equinavia’s and Tredstep’s new partnership. “I believe this is the right next step for the brand and look forward to contributing my experience as we move forward together,” he said.
