“Finding the right custodian for the business was important...”

LH Woodhouse – supplier of tradestands and temporary stabling at shows and events - has changed hands in a management buyout.

Dan Hassall, the managing director for four years, has taken ownership of the 135-year-old Nottinghamshire based company.

Dan Hassall has acquired LH Woodhouse, a well-known name on the show circuit, in a management buyout.

Tony Marsh, who acquired the business from the Woodhouse family in 1995 and ran it for 30 years, is to retire.

The company says the transition secures continuity for clients, partners and employees.

LH Woodhouse designs, manufactures and installs stables and event structures for equestrian, agricultural, country shows and the wider events sector, as well as private projects.

“Woodhouse has been my life’s work for more than 30 years,” said Tony Marsh. “Finding the right custodian for the business was important to me… I am confident the company is in capable hands.”

Dan Hassall added: “I’ve been part of the business day in, day out, so this isn’t a change in direction, it’s a long-term commitment to something I already believe in completely.

“For our clients and partners, it is business as usual. The same team, the same operational base and the same hands-on leadership.”
