“It’s my biggest personal challenge.”
Training through the winter to run all 26.2 miles of the London Marathon is not for the faint-hearted.

But having worked with horses earlier in her career, Red Gorilla’s sales manager Katherine Tuckley is well up to the task.
She’s taking on the iconic race in support of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) – and urges colleagues in the trade to back her efforts with donations.
Katherine, a former head groom to international dressage rider Harry Payne, has been with stable yard equipment supplier Red Gorilla for ten years.
The company already supports RDA via sponsorship of Paddy, a horse at the charity’s National Training Centre. Now Katherine wants to take that backing 26.2 miles further… and faces a tough training schedule though the winter to prepare for the big event on 26 April.
“Running the London Marathon is going to be the biggest personal challenge I’ve ever taken on,” she says.
“But knowing that I’ll be raising funds for the RDA, a charity that truly changes lives, will drive me every step of the way.”
