“Fellow members are really approachable and friendly.”

Five firms have joined the growing ranks of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA).

The trade body represents manufacturers, distributors, retailers and associated businesses across the sector.

Companies must be approved to join BETA and earn the right to display the BETA logo, the sign of a reputable equestrian business.

The following firms were accepted as BETA members during a meeting of the BETA Council at its meeting on 7 October:

Centauri Green Limited, Hong Kong - manufacturer and wholesaler of equestrian products – Overseas Trade Member

International Academy of Saddle Fitters, Alton - educational academy for saddle fitting – Associate Member

Understand Horses, Wallasey - online educational platform – Associate Member

Rapt Consultancy, South Moreton, Oxon - marketing consultancy – Associate Member.

Nicki Castle Independent Equine Nutrition, Devon – qualified equine nutritionist offering consultancy services – Associate Member.

Why we joined BETA

Dressage Anywhere, an online competition and training platform, became a BETA member relatively recently.

Founder Ruth Chappell names the chance to network with other people in the equestrian industry as a big reason for joining.

“Everyone is so friendly,” she says. “Whether it’s at a conference, at a social event or at a trade show, fellow BETA members are really approachable.”

Dressage Anywhere features in ‘Ten Minutes with a BETA Member’ in an upcoming ETN magazine. If you and your company would like to be considered for a future appearance, please email editor@equestriantradenews.com
