Jo Byrne has been appointed chief executive officer at the Society of Master Saddlers.

She joins the society from British Dressage where she was a development officer for its north and east region.
Previously, Jo had a 30-year career with West Midlands and South Yorkshire Police, retiring as an assistant chief constable.
As an owner and breeder, Jo has horses with international dressage rider Hannah Esberger Hancock.
Welcoming Jo to the Society of Master Saddlers, its president, Andrea Patterson, said: “Her leadership skills, strategic insight and deep-rooted connection to the equestrian world will be invaluable in supporting our members and driving the society forward.”
The Society of Master Saddlers’ former CEO Hazel Morely has retired.
