Charity selected to receive a donation from the Gala Dinner on Sunday 27th September.
The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is delighted to share that Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) will be its nominated charity for the 2026 Gala Dinner, which will take place at Hilton Metropole, NEC, on 27th September.
As per previous years, attendees will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets at the dinner for a chance to win a number of prizes ranging from luxury hampers to spa days and plenty in between. All money collected on the evening will be donated to RDA.
‘We’re incredibly grateful to BETA for choosing RDA as its Gala Dinner Charity, and to all our partners across the equestrian trade sector for their continued support. Every year, RDA supports more than 37,000 disabled children and adults, improving health and wellbeing and helping people build confidence, independence, skills and connections through horses. With demand for our activities continuing to grow, that support is more important than ever. Together, we can reach more people, transform more lives and demonstrate the vital role horses play in wider society.” said Michael Bishop, Chief Executive of RDA.
In addition to the Gala Dinner, the event will also see the winners of the 2026 British Equestrian Trade Awards (BETAs) celebrated.
“The Gala Dinner and BETAs provide a place where everyone can come together to celebrate the industry and trade,” said Claire Williams, Executive Director of BETA. “Part of this is the incredible work that the charities in the equestrian industry do, and RDA is a key example of this. We continue to be in awe of the work this charity does, and the inspiring stories shared about those who participate in RDA activities. We are pleased to be able to support the charity in this way and hope to raise lots of money on the evening. We’re also very grateful to our members and Gala Dinner attendees for providing such superb raffle prizes!”
