Study to investigate equine allied professionals’ job satisfaction.
A researcher wants to know how satisfied equine allied professionals such as saddlery fitters are with their working arrangements.
Claire Brown, a lecturer at Hartpury University, is urging saddle and bridle fitters, farriers, equine dental technicians and therapists, to help with her study.
“The purpose is to gain a better understanding of the current challenges within the equine allied professions and the implications for the sustainability of the future workforce,” she said.
“The study will consider to what extent equine allied professionals are satisfied with their current working arrangement, feel valued and identify their concerns.”
To take part in the research, candidates must currently work in the UK, be 18 or over and fully qualified (by their own interpretation) in their profession.
The survey should only take ten minutes to complete, adds Claire who is conducting the research as part of her Master of Business Administration. The survey can be accessed online here.
