Peter Forster is the new sales manager for Wood & Slumber equine bedding.
He has previously held sales roles in the horse feed sector, and spent 15 years with Bedmax.
Wood & Slumber small flake shavings are made by Arbor Forest Products. The BETA NOPS accredited company says it’s making the bedding brand more widely available via retailers across the UK.
Peter grew up on a Northumberland dairy farm. He and his twin sister enjoyed Pony Cub activities and local shows.
After farming college, he went into the Thoroughbred industry to break and train racehorses. He’s also ridden in point-to-points and hunter chases, and worked with leisure horses.
“I’ve spent most of my life around horses and yards, so I understand what people need from their bedding,” he says.
“Wood & Slumber is a consistently high-quality product… I’m looking forward to helping more people discover it while supporting our growing network of stockists around the country.”
