Plus… more brands give back to equestrianism.
Zebra Products has sponsored Bradwall Horse Trials since the distributor’s managing director-cum-amateur event rider Simon Middleton won the open novice class there in 2022.
This year, he was back at the Cheshire event to take top spot in the 90 open with Galetha, a mare borrowed from his wife Lindsay.
Lindsay, the UK’s Sprenger bits expert, originally evented Galetha then switched her to dressage four years ago.
“Luckily, Lindsay decided that Galetha was missing eventing… so as one of my horses was injured, she kindly let me take on the ride,” said Simon.
“Galetha led from start to finish on her 25.3 dressage score. I knew she was capable of winning; I just didn’t want to mess it up! She’s a gorgeous mare – I’m so lucky.”
Feed brand continues as British teams’ supplier
D&H has signed a new four-year agreement to continue as British Equestrian’s official supplier of equine nutrition.
The agreement marks the feed brand’s fifth Olympic and Paralympic Games cycle of involvement with Britain’s senior championship teams and British Equestrian World Class Programme.
D&H works with the World Class Programme to provide diet analysis, feed testing and nutritional advice for the equine athletes. It also supports the movement of equestrian feedstuffs for championships around the globe up to and including the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Supporting a good cause

Gallop Equestrian is supporting World Horse Welfare by donating products to the charity’s four rescue and rehabilitation centres.
The company is also inviting consumers to make optional donations at the checkout on its website.
“It’s so lovely to work with World Horse Welfare and support this essential and respected charity,” said Amy Drew from Gallop.
“The work they do is amazing; all their rescued horses are cared for to the highest standard and every effort is put into getting them back on track with the aim to rehome.”
Petere Rowbottom from the charity added: “Corporate support such as this is vital to help fund our work in rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of horses in need every year.”
Horses in art
As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, bedding manufacturer Bedmax is supporting a major equestrian art exhibition.
The Horse in Art 2025, organised by the Society of Equestrian Artists (SEA), is at The Garden Rooms at Tennants, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, on 7 October to 1 November. The exhibition showcases a broad spectrum of styles and all work will be for sale.
New partnership
Horslyx has new partnerships with elite dressage horse stud Mount St John and David Britnell Eventing.
Said Emma Blundell, founder of Mount St John: "Mini Horslyx is excellent for positive reinforcement during handling.”
David Britnell added: “These licks are great for enticing a good stretch and ideal for adding extra vitamins and minerals into our horses’ diets.”
Backing for young horses
GFS Saddles is the new title sponsor of the CCI4*-S 8 & 9-year-old class at the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials on 18 - 21 September.
Said Geoff Fieldhouse, the brand’s managing director: “We’re proud to sponsor a class that not only showcases future eventing stars but also reflects the same commitment to performance and potential that underpins our entire saddle range.”
Sponsoring locally
Gower Granary, a farmer-owned producer of chopped straw bedding and haylage, is sponsoring Beacons Equestrian, the Carmarthenshire competition and training centre.
Riding with purpose
Battles’ brand Hy Equestrian sponsored event rider Alex Postolowsky with a £1,000 donation as she took part in the Macmillan ‘Ride of Their Lives’ charity race at York Racecourse in June.
Said brand manager Rebecca Howsam: “We believe in championing riders who ride with purpose - and Alex is a true example of that.”
Euros and beyond
Agria and British Equestrian (BEF) have announced a new partnership making the equine insurer the principal partner of the British Equestrian World Class Programme (WCP).
The agreement provides support via technology, training and other expertise as British competitors prepare for this year’s European Championships and beyond to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Enduring sponsors
British Horse Feeds celebrates its 15th year of sponsorship at The Red Dragon Festival of Endurance in September. Sister brand The Golden Paste Company is sponsoring a new national championship for Endurance GB.
