How to view tomorrow’s inaugural event online.
The British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA’s) first Safety Conference is tomorrow at Loughborough University. And for those unable to join in person, the online option is still bookable.
Virtual attendance costs £75+VAT per device/person and includes a recording of the event delivered through BETA’s training platform. Virtual attendees who join live can ask questions through Zoom too.
The conference will feature an international line-up of speakers, with opportunities for debate and discussion. Subjects to be covered include the prevention of spinal injuries, rotational protection, body protectors for female riders, sub-concussive impacts and fitting a diverse rider population.
The latest on safety stirrups and an event rider’s perspective with Laura Collett are other highlights. The event will conclude with an Innovation Panel.
“The Conference has a lot for everyone across all sectors of the industry,” said Claire Williams, executive director of BETA.
“We’ve designed the programme to give an overview of the fundamental parts of equestrian safety, from different perspectives, to ensure that whether you’re a retailer, coach, rider, manufacturer, or just have an interest in what goes into keeping riders safe, you will get a huge amount of value from the day.”
As with all BETA Conferences, there will be opportunities to network for those attending in person, as well as the chance to visit exhibition stands before, at lunch, and after the conference closes.
