Establishments “inspire a love of horses.”

The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is supporting riding schools as a sponsor of the 2026 ABRS+ Conference.

“Riding schools inspire a love of horses and riding in many of our trade’s current and future customers, so we’re happy to get behind this event,” said Claire Williams from BETA.

The ABRS+ Conference on 2 November at Arena UK near Grantham, titledThriving Together: Horses, People and Business, will bring together riding school proprietors, managers, coaches, industry representatives and supporters of grassroots equestrianism.

The keynote speaker is international dressage rider Lewis Carrier who began his riding career at a riding school.

Equine welfare and boosting participation will be prominent themes.

“Riding schools are the gateway through which many people discover horses, develop life skills and find their place within equestrian sport,” says Anne Clarke from ABRS+, a charity representing professional proprietors of equestrian premises.

“We want this conference to help riding schools become as strong, resilient and successful as they can be, so they can continue to play that vital role in the future of equestrianism.”

Discounted conference tickets are available to BETA members.
