New prize will go to long-standing, much-loved product.
The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) has opened nominations for the 2026 British Equestrian Trade Awards (the BETAs).
This year, a new award - the Test Of Time - celebrates products that have been on the market for at least ten years and become horse owners’ must-haves.
“We’re thrilled to open nominations for the 2026 BETAs,” says Claire Williams, executive director of BETA.
“Celebrating the industry in this way is so important, and we love seeing all the nominations pour in, highlighting unsung heroes across trade and retail spaces that help to make equestrians’ (and their horses’) lives all the better.
“We’re thrilled to welcome back many returning sponsors, and we’re also very excited about the new award and to see which products are voted for their endurance and longevity.”
The categories for the 2026 BETAs are:
BETA Safety Equipment Fitter of the Year – nomination deadline 29/6/26
Equine Careers Sales Representative of the Year - nomination deadline 29/6/26
Zebra Products Retailer of the Year – online - nomination deadline 10/7/26
Absorbine Retailer of the Year – store - nomination deadline 29/6/26
Holdsworth PR Marketing Effectiveness Award - nomination deadline 29/6/26
GBH Forwarding Export Award - nomination deadline 29/6/26
ENFAR Nutritional Helpline of the Year - nomination deadline 29/6/26
BETA Lifetime Achievement Award - nomination deadline 29/6/26
Citation Trade Supplier of the Year - nomination deadline 29/6/26
Equine Fitters Council Equine Fitter of the Year - nomination deadline 9/7/26
Test of Time Award - nomination deadline 4/6/26
The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the BETA Gala Dinner on Sunday 27 September at The Hilton Metropole, NEC, Birmingham.
