Visitors will see the partnership in action.

Equestrian artists and an equine bedding manufacturer are working together to share the joy of horses.

Anthea Wood, chair of the Society of Equestrian Artists, will be among the artists in action on the Bedmax stand at Scone Palace International Horse Trials.

Bedmax is hosting the Society of Equestrian Artists (SEA) on its stand at Scone Palace International Horse Trials in the coming days (August 21 – 24).

Visitors can watch live demonstrations by SEA members – including artists Anthea Wood and Georgia Finnis - working at their easels throughout the event.

“We believe it’s the first time artists have painted live on a bedding manufacturer’s stand, and it’s a brilliant way to bring people even closer to the horses we all care so deeply about,” says Tim Smalley, managing director of Bedmax.

The Society of Equestrian Artists, founded in 1979, has seen renewed momentum recently as a new generation portrays horses’ grace, power and personality.

Bedmax’s support for the arts is part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

The bedding brand is backing SEA’s Horse in Art exhibition, on 7 October to 1 November, at The Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
