D&H has appointed Dr Marga Mas-Fiol DVM PGDip CertAVP MBA MRCVS as head of veterinary, equine health and performance.

She joins the brand’s recently-created strategy and management team.

Dr Marga Mas-Fiol, who is a vet, will represent D&H within the international equine veterinary community.

Marga’s veterinary and nutrition expertise will underpin all elements of the business and see D&H represented within the international equine veterinary community.

Marga qualified as a vet in 2015 and spent seven years working in equine practice in Europe and the UK.

In 2018, she obtained a postgraduate diploma in equine practice before becoming a RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practitioner in 2021 and then gaining her MBA in 2023.

“Since joining D&H in 2023, Marga has been instrumental in the growth of our international division, working closely with commercial and professional yards,” said a spokesperson for the brand.

“More recently she has been part of the team that has switched high level dressage yards and studs [to D&H] in the UK.

Marga is working closely with D&H’s nutritionists and feed advisors. She will also be involved with industry events, training and educational opportunities, as well as advising brand ambassadors and partners such as British Equestrian.

“This is quite simply my dream job,” said Marga.

“D&H’s commitment and passion for horses, people and nutrition is totally in line with everything I believe in as a vet and a person. I am honoured and thrilled to be taking on this role, which is so instrumental in delivering excellence in nutrition for happy, healthy horses, strategically and practically on yard.”
