Riders and retailers urged to nominate those who go the extra mile.
A national award awaits the UK’s outstanding saddle, bridle and bit fitter.

Nominations are open – until Monday, 16 June – for the Equine Fitters Council Equine Fitter of the Year Award 2025.
It’s one of the series of British Equestrian Trade Awards (the BETAs) to be presented at the British Equestrian Trade Association’s BETA Gala Dinner on 28 September.
This award recognises the highly skilled work undertaken by saddle, bridle and bit fitters.
“Equine fitters have a huge responsibility to provide members of the equine community with sound, knowledgeable and up-to-date advice,” says Claire Williams from BETA.
“We are especially proud to recognise their dedication at a time when the link between equine welfare and the correct use of saddlery and tack is high on the agenda.”
The Equine Fitters Council Equine Fitter of the Year award is open to employed or independent fitters who can be BETA members or non-members.
Nominations close on 16 June.
