Print and social media, managing staff through Covid, plus open debate are on the agenda for the 2020 BETA Conference & AGM.

The annual event will happen virtually (via Webex Events) on Monday, 26 October.

The trade association’s AGM and elections of officers, which is open to members only, will precede the conference at 9am.

The 2020 BETA Conference begins at 10.30am when Michelle Goodall looks at the latest social media trends and how to adapt to them.

Joe Friedlein of Browse Media then offers advice on increasing your online presence. An introduction to Guild, a new members-only community space, with Michelle Goodall follows.

After a break, Croner’s Amanda Chadwick tackles staff management in the age of Covid, covering home working, furlough and more.

Then political analyst John Arnold will update delegates on Brexit and what’s happening in Westminster.

The role of print media in marketing is the topic of a presentation by Justeen Jones of Horse & Hound.

An open forum will cover topical issues before the 2020 BETA Conference closes by mid-afternoon.
