British manufacturers to show why their products are the best in the world.

The BETA International Saddlery Pavilion returns to next year’s trade show with continued support from the Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) and the Worshipful Company of Saddlers.

The feature area showcases some of the finest leatherwork and offers up to 13 British saddlery companies the opportunity to promote their products to an international audience.

Pavilion stands will enjoy a prominent position in Hall 2, opposite the show’s SMS competitions. Stands, measuring up to 6 sq m, are available on a first come, first served basis.

Only those companies that have not exhibited independently during the past two years are eligible to apply for a place. However, exhibitors that appeared in the 2020 pavilion can also feature in 2021 as part of the area’s maximum two-year rule.

“A big hit”

“The Saddlery Pavilion was introduced at the 2019 show, where it proved a big hit with retailers and saddle-fitters from across the UK and overseas,” said BETA International organiser Claire Thomas.

“It has quickly become an integral part of the show and we are extremely proud to be doing our bit to fly the flag for one of Britain’s most treasured commodities. The skill and craftsmanship of the British saddler are quite simply second to none, making the pavilion an important port of call for many of our visitors.

“We are delighted that the SMS and Worshipful Company of Saddlers are on board for another year as we work to promote this crucially important and long-standing sector.”

Hazel Morley, chief executive of the SMS, added: “We are delighted to give the Saddlery Pavilion our backing. The SMS wants to support its manufacturing members in every way that it can and the pavilion gives them the opportunity to attend the show at very reasonable rates. It’s a great arena in which to showcase the high quality of their products.”
