It’s hoped a sale can be secured.

The Pure Feed Company has gone into administration.

In a letter dated 29 November to creditors and suppliers, and seen by ETN, the joint administrators say they hope to conclude a sale shortly.

“That will mean the business will continue and will save the jobs of six employees,” they add.

Simon Haskew and Paul Wood of insolvency practitioners Begbies Traynor in Bristol are the joint administrators.

The forerunner of North Somerset based The Pure Feed Company was founded in 2004 by Lou Talintyre in 2004. The business developed to meet demand for the feeds she had been creating for the horses at her stud.

Pure Feed products are marketed as free from molasses and nutritionally improved straw while being packed with nutritious, palatable ingredients.

ETN invited the administrators to comment.
