Industry association reports a healthy new intake.
Fourteen companies have just been approved as new members of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA).
An equestrian facilities planner, a sales agency and the company behind a stable yard innovation are among the diverse new intake.
BETA has various membership categories to cater for different types of UK and overseas based equestrian businesses. Companies of all sizes can apply to join, with applications carefully scrutinised before consideration by the BETA Council.
“Our membership truly reflects the diverse nature of today’s equestrian industry,” says Claire Williams from BETA which runs conferences and training seminars throughout the year.
“The opportunity to network with others in the industry has always been a key reason to join BETA,” she added. “And now, with so many different experts and entrepreneurs among our ranks, that proposition is more attractive than ever.”
The following were approved as new BETA members at the trade association’s most recent Council meeting.
- Agrarian Ltd, Gloucestershire – Associate member – planning and design of equestrian facilities
- Maxwell Veterinary Services, Warwickshire – Associate – consultant in international equestrian trade and veterinary sector
- Equine Science Academy, Northwich – Associate – independent equine nutritionist
- Equicare Veterinary Services Ltd, Andover – Associate – independent equine veterinary and nutritional consultancy service
- Equerry Consulting Ltd, Gloucestershire – Associate – marketing and communications agency
- Spirit Equine, Ceredigion – Associate - saddle fitting, bridle fitting and massage
- Equibitfit, Belgium – Overseas Associate – professional training in bit and bridle fitting
- Na Lio Equine Nutrition & Wellness, Canada – Overseas Associate – equine nutritional assessments, forage analysis and owner education
- Cloud Retail Brands Ltd, Sheffield – Agent – brand consultant and commercial sales agency for equestrian and other brands
- Top of the Clops, Somerset - Retail – online tackshop for horse, rider and yard
- Saddlers Row, USA – Overseas Retail - equestrian store with saddlery and riding equipment
- Equihook, Somerset – Trade – manufacturer of magnetic hooks for bridles, head collars and whips
- Amber Valley Developments LLP, Leicester – Trade – development and manufacturer of hay soaking equipment
- Prestige Italia, Italy – Overseas Trade – Italian manufacturer of saddles and equestrian accessories
