“It’s something the industry desperately needed.”
Louise Scott from D&H has been accepted onto the BETA ENFAR register as an Equine Nutritionist.

The scheme, launched by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) in December, lists verified experts who consumers can confidently contact for advice.
Employees of the major feed brands as well as independent equine nutritionists have joined the register.
“BETA ENFAR is a fantastic new scheme which will give the entire industry confidence that the advice they receive is coming from a credible source and that the professionals on the register are keeping up to date with regular CPD,” said Louise.
“The register is something the industry desperately needed.
“In a world of misinformation, it’s often difficult to know who to trust for feeding information but BETA ENFAR provides a platform for owners to easily access accredited nutritionists and feed advisors.”
More than 50 equine nutritionists and feeding advisers are already listed on BETA ENFAR. All have been assessed and approved for their knowledge and experience, good communication skills and commitment to ongoing learning.
