“A fantastic opportunity for us to engage with the equestrian community.”

Some of the equestrian industry’s best-known brands have unveiled sponsorship and partnership packages.

While some choose to back riders, others are getting behind shows, competitions and good causes across the range of horse sports.

Whatever the shape of the sponsorship, highlighting products to horsey shoppers is always a win for the trade.

Team players

Toggi has renewed its contract with British Equestrian as official casual performance clothing supplier to the World Class Programme and senior British Equestrian Teams until the end of 2028.

Brand owner Finest Brands has supported British Equestrian Teams for three decades, and donates 10% from sales of its Toggi GBR Collection to the British Equestrian teams.

Ahead of the recent FEI World Championships, 1,000 items of Toggi kit were distributed to 23 British competitors and their support teams plus staff and officials. Said Millie Simpson from the company “It filled us with pride watching the medals at the Aachen world championships, and seeing riders, grooms, owners and supporters all wearing the Toggi brand.”

Giving back to racing

“We’re excited to have SPILLERS as a partner of seven of our racecourses and the training facilities in Newmarket and Lambourn,” says Matt Powell from The Jocky Club.

The SPILLERS brand has partnered with The Jockey Club in an agreement spanning Carlisle, Exeter, Huntingdon, Market Rasen, Nottingham, Warwick and Wincanton racecourses plus Lambourn and Newmarket gallops.

“Racing is a core focus for our brand. Working with The Jockey Club is the perfect way to invest back into and support the racing industry,” said Charlotte Mitchell, thoroughbred nutritionist at Mars Horsecare, home of the SPILLERS brand.

More riders join team

Team Sorbeo member Louisa Milne Home

International polo trainer Gabriel Santos and dressage rider Ellie Macarthy are the newest members of Team Sorbeo.

They join para-dressage rider Mari Akhurst, event rider Louisa Milne Home and social media favourite Teddy the Shetland as ambassadors for the equine bedding brand.

“Sorbeo Horse Bedding continues to enjoy strong growth through country stores and equestrian retailers across the UK, with increasing numbers of professional riders choosing it,” said Fiona Hill from the company.

Kitting out the organising team

Event rider Jemima Howden wears Premier Equine at Cornbury House ahead of next month’s horse trials at the Oxfordshire venue.

Premier Equine has become the Official Apparel Partner of Cornbury House Horse Trials 2026 in Oxfordshire on 9 – 13 September and will provide clothing to the event’s organising team.

“Cornbury House Horse Trials brings together everything we value as a brand: exceptional horses, talented riders, countryside life, quality, presentation and a real respect for the sport,” says Adam Zegocki, chief operation officer at Premier Equine.

Added David Howden, founder and president of Cornbury House Horse Trials: “Premier Equine is a respected British brand with a genuine commitment to quality, performance and the welfare of horse and rider, values that sit at the heart of everything we are building here at Cornbury.”

Feeding advice for amateur show riders

The Showing Register (TSR) has a new partnership with D&H. The collaboration will support the newly named D&H TSR Amateur of the Year Show at Stoneleigh in November.

The event gives amateur competitors a championship experience.

“The mission for all of us at D&H is to deliver excellence in nutrition to all horses and we are looking forward to attending this year’s show to be on hand to share our nutritional knowledge,” says Isla Boxall-Loomes from the feed brand.

Backing an inclusive eventing competition

First aid brand Animalintex is sponsoring the CCI 1*- Intro at the Autumn Aspen Cooling Osberton International Horse Trials on 2 – 4 October

“Working with [event organiser] BEDE Events provides a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with the equestrian community,” said Claire Newton from Vernacare International, which acquired Animalintex manufacturer Robinson Animal Healthcare in 2021.

Centre of excellence

Zebra Products has announced its support for Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre. The distributor says the Cheshire venue “represents the gold standard in equestrian sporting facilities.”

Simon Middleton, Zebra Products’ managing director, regularly competes at Kelsall Hill which is home to a branch of retailer Hope Valley.

Making safety accessible

Charles Owen is offering Riding for the Disabled (RDA) participants discounts on its riding helmets and body protectors under a new partnership with the charity.

“Riding hats are one of the biggest expenses our RDA groups face, so being able to offer exclusive savings on Charles Owen helmets and body protectors is something we’re proud to make a reality,” says RDA chief executive Michael Bishop.

The RDA is currently running its Summer of Inclusion campaign to highlight the importance of ensuring disabled children and young people have access to inclusive activities and opportunities.

Added Dave Derby, chief executive of Charles Owen: "Safety is at the heart of everything we do, so it is important we partner with like-minded, safety-conscious organisations to ensure that message reaches as many riders as possible.”
