New products are in the pipeline, it’s revealed.

Gatehouse Equestrian has appointed KM Elite Products as sole distributor of its body protectors and riding helmets, including the popular HS1 Jockey Skull.

The Gatehouse HS1 helmet, now available to retailers via distributor KM Elite, is popular with eventers such as Alex Bragg.

The agreement commences with immediate effect.

The Gatehouse brand belongs to Design Headwear, owned since 2007 by Bruno Goyens who says he’s excited to be working with the sales team at KM Elite.

“There is work to do on our B2B business with shops and it was time to look in a new direction to take sales forward,” he added.

“We have some new helmets in the pipeline, and I look forward to working on the UK business, focussing on the helmets and supporting our retailers.“

We have the product, and we have a famous brand that is well recognised in the industry – I could not ditch that,” said Bruno.

Large inventory

Karl Middleton, managing director at KM Elite Products, said: “We’ve invested in a large inventory which will be available from the beginning of February and can offer our retailers both reliable and consistent stock levels as well as our exceptional customer service.

“KM Elite looks forward to this exciting new opportunity, offering Gatehouse to both existing customers and welcoming new retailers to our collections.”

Besides the HS1 Jockey Skull worn by the likes of Mary King, William Fox-Pitt and Andrew Nicholson, Gatehouse has peaked helmet styles suitable for showjumping and dressage, including the Chelsea, Conquest and Ciana models.
