Spotlight falls on the varied careers in the equestrian sector.

People who work in the equestrian industry are being showcased by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) as part of its Careers Month.

The initiative – which runs until 12 March - aims to highlight the diverse range of job opportunities within the equestrian sector.

Its end date coincides with National Careers Week which offers guidance and support to young people leaving education.

BETA Careers Month comprises a schedule of video content and live broadcasts shared across the trade association’s social media platforms and podcast.

It’s providing a platform for BETA member companies and professionals in the equestrian sector – and giving people looking at equestrian careers real life examples of people doing those jobs.

“We have an incredibly diverse range of members in BETA, and running this campaign allows us to showcase many of them,” said Claire Williams, executive director of the trade association.

“We’re working with our members and people beyond who have kindly said they’ll help us to provide an engaging and interactive schedule of content including many live broadcasts that will also give those interested the chance to ask any questions.

“Although we feel that this campaign will be really useful for younger people looking to enter the industry, we also feel it’ll help increase understanding across the sector, and provide those looking to change career at a later point in their life with a fabulous resource.”

Content is available on BETA’s social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
