Acquisition is part of European supplier’s “global growth ambitions”

Dutch company Bieman de Haas has acquired Wireless Horse Instruction Systems (WHIS).

Founded in 2013 by Judith Hendriks, WHIS enables remote communication between coaches and riders.

Bieman de Haas already owns the Anky Technical Casuals, Premiere and BR Equestrian Equipment brands.

According to director/owner Theo den Bieman, this latest acquisition is in line with its “global growth ambitions.”

He added: “It means we’re able to serve equestrian sport retailers even better, and expand our market share.

"The acquisition also means new opportunities for… collaboration with top international equestrians, and a technical product in our range."

Bieman de Haas claims to be the market leader in the Benelux countries and one the world's five biggest equestrian distributors. It has more than 65 employees and operates in 40 countries.
