Ben Maher, Olympic champion, works with Zebra Products – new sponsor of the Retailer of the Year award, one of a series of BETA Business awards

“We’re giving something special back to the industry,” says new sponsor.

For the first time in 16 years, the best-known award in equestrian retailing has a new sponsor – Zebra Products.

Voting has opened for the 2022 Zebra Products Retailer of the Year award, one of a series of British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) business awards.

Consumers are urged to nominate retailers who offer excellent service and advice to the horsey community. A uvex riding hat is up for grabs in a prize draw open to all nominators.

The award has two categories – one for bricks-and-mortar stores and another for online/mail order retailers.

“We are delighted and honoured to be able to sponsor the Retailer of the Year awards,” said Simon Middleton, managing director of Zebra Products,

“These prestigious awards provide a superb platform to support and acknowledge some of the UK’s greatest equestrian retailers. They also enable Zebra Products to give something special back to the industry. The very best of luck to all the entrants!”

BETA executive director Claire Williams added: “We are delighted to welcome support from Zebra Products as the new sponsor of this award.

“This is one the most sought-after awards by retailers, so it’s appropriate for it to be supported by a company such as Zebra Products.”

Zebra Products is the distributor of a host of top European brands to UK and Irish retailers. The North Wales based company also works with leading riders such as Charlotte Dujardin and Ben Maher.
