Team gets glammed up for charity
The team at faecal worm egg count specialist Westgate Labs swapped their lab coats for glad rags last week.

They were taking part in Dress Like A Popstar Day to raise money for disadvantaged children in the UK.
Even as they raised £300 for Cash For Kids, ‘Freddie Mercury’, ‘Miley Cyrus’ and Co continued testing samples, packing orders and giving telephone advice at Westgate Labs’ Northumberland HQ.
Said Katie Perry, aka Westgate Labs ops director Kristy Hodgson: “We had a lot of fun for a great cause. Everyone took the challenge and ran with it, they really got into the spirit of the day and excelled themselves.”
Before long, customers following on social media began asking which popstar had tested their samples. One horse owner wrote: “We had our test carried out by Ariana Grande, that deserves a donation!”
Cash For Kids supports children in poverty who need food on the table and school uniform in the current cost-of-living crisis.
