Kind-hearted gesture is part of autumn promotion.

A retailer is supporting Riding for the Disabled (RDA) groups across Scotland.

Harbro County Stores will donate 50p to the charity for every bag of own brand feed sold across its 21 outlets during October.

As part of the retailer’s Love Your Horse month, customers can also win an oil painting of their horse by Angus-based artist Madeleine Juniper.

Special offers during October include clearance deals on rugs and equine clothing, with up to 50% discount on selected items.

“RDA Groups have been hit hard by the effects of coronavirus and we know it is a cause close to many of our customers’ hearts,” said Allan Bain (pictured), retail director at Harbro Country Stores.

“My sister has benefited from the work of her local RDA group for many years, so I am personally aware how vital a service it is for participants across Scotland.”
