LIMITED-EDITION PRODUCT TO MARK QUEEN’S 70TH ANNIVERSARY

New line unveiled ahead of 2022’s Platinum Jubilee. Gallop Equestrian is offering a limited-edition version of its Monarch print rugs to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.  Next year will see Queen Elizabeth II become the first British monarch to reign for 70 years - and an extra Jubilee bank holiday on Friday, 3 June. “I NEED A NO-RUB HEADCOLLAR!”

Brand answers horse owner’s plea. When ETN editor and horse owner Liz Benwell made an appeal about headcollars via the magazine, she was staggered by the response. NEW APPAREL CAN BE RE-SOLD OR USED IN PROMOTIONS

Supplier of unrelated products launches colourful collection. Bits and bitting specialist Neue Schule has introduced a clothing and accessories range. Equestrian inspired Neue Schule Apparel includes items to wear on the yard, in the gym or at leisure.  It’s available to stockists to re-sell or use as promotional tools alongside bit sales.  A Strapback Cap (RRP £18.99) with buckle and Multi-Scarf (RRP £12.99) are first to appear in the branded range. DRESSAGE RIDER LAUNCHES LEATHERWORK LABEL

Business-minded competitor has been winning at small tour. International dressage rider Lara Edwards (nee Dyson) has launched a leatherwork label. Ex-England player’s stables teams up with equestrian brand. NAF Racing has announced an official collaboration with Manor House Stables. The Cheshire based Flat racing yard is owned by ex-England and Liverpool footballer Michael Owen (pictured above) and his business partner Andrew Black. The horses are trained by Tom Dascombe. Positive laboratory test results could make it “a game changer”. KBF99 grooming products have been clinically proven to kill 99% of the coronavirus with just four brush strokes. Now the additive has been incorporated into hand-brushes for use on human skin and surfaces. The latest testing on KBF99 took place at BluTest laboratory in Glasgow. “We believe this is a game changer in the fight to help eradicate and protect against this highly contagious and potentially fatal disease,” said Stacy Coates of brand owner Vale Brothers. NEW PARTNERSHIP HIGHLIGHTS SUPPLEMENTS FOR SHOWING

Announcement comes ahead of competitions recommencing. NAF has formed an official partnership with leading show producer Katie Jerram-Hunnable. Katie has ridden a number of horses for HM the Queen, including the home-bred Barbers Shop, a racehorse whom she retrained to showing success before his retirement in 2018. The Essex based producer now has several of the Queen’s young horses making their way up the showing ranks. SUPPLIER EXTENDS TRADE PRICE FREEZE

“We’ve received great support for our brands – so we want to reciprocate.” NAF is continuing to support customers in 2021 by extending its trade price hold. Last November, the company announced it would be freezing trade prices until Spring 2021. The move has now been extended until September 2021. Supplier to fund ‘bounce back’ initiative for bricks-and-mortar stores as Covid restrictions ease. A supplement specialist has unveiled a promotion to draw consumers back into physical stores. Ahead of the BETTALIFE Bounce Back Weekend – running from Friday to Monday, 16 to 19 April – consumers will be offered money-off vouchers.
